Malaysia: Day 2 (Kuala Lumpur)

After we slept off our jet lag, we ventured up the road lined with hundreds of blue flags representing the political party that was elected into power the night before. 

KL is a great place for a spot of shopping, and we wanted to get more for our buck than the fake Burbery wallet on the way back from the night markets.



Well, I got a new bag, new wallet and a camera lense protector from a shonky guy who took pictures of random people as part of his demo. 





Jason bought a nice long sleeved T shirt.

Then we tucked into some good Taiwanese fair...







...followed by the strangest concept dessert restaurant I have ever seen...






Chocolate icecream on toast!






That evening, we headed back into town for some more street food.  We enjoyed seafood curry, chilli calamari and Tiger beer while my perfectly straightened hair went crazy in the humidity!
